| Product performance | Benomyl is a carbamate type of absorbent fungicide, with protective and therapeutic effects. It is metabolized in plants by polyzobacillin and another volatile butyl isocyanate. The main mechanism of action is to interfere with the synthesis of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), especially the generation of nucleosides. Carbendazim also interferes with mitosis by binding to microtubule proteins in the spindle during pathogen cell division. However, the slight change of spindle microtubule protein can reduce the binding force of carbendazim and microtubule protein, thus easy to cause drug resistance. |
