Differences between Mepiquat chloride, Paclobutrazol, and Chlormequat

Mepiquat chloride

Mepiquat chloride can promote early flowering of plants, prevent shedding, increase yield, enhance chlorophyll synthesis,

and inhibit the elongation of main stems and fruiting branches. Spraying according to the dosage and different growth stages

of plants can regulate plant growth, make plants firm and lodging resistant, improve color and increase yield.

Mepiquat chloride is mainly used on cotton. In addition, it can prevent lodging when used in winter wheat; it can increase

calcium ion absorption and reduce black heart when used in apples; it can increase sugar content in citrus; it can inhibit excessive

growth and improve color in ornamental plants; it can be used in tomatoes, melons and beans Class can increase yield and mature earlier.

Chlormequat chloride

Chlormequat can effectively control the excessive growth of plants, promote reproductive growth, shorten the internodes of plants,

grow short, strong, and thick, develop root systems, and resist lodging. At the same time, leaf color deepens, leaves thicken, chlorophyll

content increases, and photosynthesis is enhanced. Improve the fruit setting rate of some crops, improve the quality and increase the yield.

Chlormequat can improve the water absorption capacity of roots, affect the accumulation of proline in plants, and help improve the stress resistance of plants,

such as drought resistance, cold resistance, salt resistance and disease resistance. Chlormequat can enter the plant through leaves, twigs, buds, roots and seeds,

so it can be used for seed dressing, spraying and watering, and different application methods can be selected according to different crops to achieve the best effect.

Paclobutrazol

Paclobutrazol has the effects of delaying plant growth, inhibiting stem elongation, shortening internodes, promoting plant tillering, increasing plant stress resistance,

and increasing yield. It is suitable for crops such as rice, wheat, peanuts, fruit trees, tobacco, rapeseed, soybeans, flowers, lawns, etc., and the effect is remarkable

Differences between Mepiquat chloride, Paclobutrazol, and Chlormequat

1. Mepiquat chloride is relatively mild, with a wide range of concentration and is not prone to drug damage;

excessive dosage of paclobutrazol and chlormequat are prone to drug damage;

2. Paclobutrazol is a triazole regulator with strong inhibitory properties and has the effect of treating powdery mildew.

It has a better effect on peanuts, but it has no obvious effect on autumn and winter crops; chlormequat is widely used and used in large doses.
