Aldicarb 15% is a highly toxic pesticide. The application should be strictly and scientifically standardized according to different crops and pest infestations.
1. Potato Field Application: 10-15 catties per hectare, with a safe interval of 150 days between application and harvest.
Strictly adhere to the following regulations:
(1) This pesticide must not be used in sandy soil and sandy loam areas with a groundwater level less than 1 meter deep and an annual rainfall greater than 1000 mm, or in plots within 100 meters of a water source.
(2) The minimum soil moisture content required for this product to be absorbed by the crop roots and exert its good efficacy is 5% (by weight). Otherwise, the efficacy will be affected. Therefore, in hilly and semi-mountainous areas with a dry climate in May and June, a deep application method should be adopted, that is, applying the pesticide granules about 2-3 cm below the base of the potato vines in the soil, and watering thoroughly to reduce the impact of drought on the efficacy and facilitate the normal exertion of the pesticide.
(3) During the safety interval, a warning sign should be erected in the field where the pesticide is applied: “Do not pick or eat, highly poisonous!”
2. Peanut field application:
Limited to spring-sown peanuts, and intercropping with other crops is prohibited. Application to summer-sown peanuts is also prohibited.
3. Cotton field application:
Apply in furrows during sowing, ensuring the seeds and pesticide granules are separated; do not mix pesticide granules directly with cotton seeds. Apply in holes during transplanting, dispersing the pesticide granules at the bottom of the hole, covering with a small amount of soil before planting the seedling, watering thoroughly, and covering with soil.
