Thiophanate-carbofuran
Control of cotton aphids, rice stem borers, rice planthoppers, citrus aphids, and whiteflies
1. Cotton Aphid Control
Dosage: 450-800 ml per hectare
Dilute with: 750 kg of water
Timing: Apply at the initial stage of aphid infestation
Frequency: Once every 10-15 days, for two consecutive applications
Safety interval: 30 days
2. Rice Stem Borers and Planthoppers
Rice Stem Borers: 3000-3750 ml per hectare
Rice Planthoppers: Approximately 2250 ml per hectare, diluted with 450-650 kg of water
3. Citrus Aphids and Whiteflies
Dosage: 650-1100 ml per hectare
Safety interval: 15 days
Maximum application per season: 2 times
II. Key Points of Application Techniques
1. Timing of Application
- The best results are achieved when applying pesticides at the initial stage of pest infestation and during the peak period of nymph (larval) emergence.
- 1. Spray evenly, avoiding over-spraying and missed areas, ensuring both sides of the leaves are covered.
- Do not apply if rain is expected within 1 hour.
2. Preparation Method
- Use the two-stage dilution method: first dissolve the pesticide in a small amount of water, then add water to the required volume.
- Prepare and use immediately; do not store for extended periods.
III. ⚠️ Important Safety Reminders
1. Strictly prohibit use beyond the permitted scope.
- Carbofuran metabolizes into highly toxic carbofuran (furadan) in organisms.
Strictly prohibit use on leafy vegetables (such as bok choy, spinach, and lettuce) due to high residue risk.
2. Safety intervals must be adhered to.
Cotton – 30 days
Citrus – 15 days
