Short Description:

Mode of Action:

  • Butachlor is a selective systemic herbicide, absorbed primarily through germinating shoots and secondarily by the roots, with translocation throughout the plant.
  • It inhibits cell division by blocking protein synthesis.
  • Recommended for pre-emergence or early post-emergence application to control annual grasses and selected broadleaf weeds in rice.
  • Ensure a water level of 3–4 inches in the field at the time of application.
  • Apply using a shaker bottle within 5–7 days of transplanting.
  • Maintain standing water in the field for 5–7 days after Butachlor application.

    Technical requirements for use:

    1.3-6 days after rice transplantation, the best application effect (after slow seedling).
    2. When used in rice fields, the amount of this product per mu shall not exceed 180 grams, and the appropriate soil moisture is an important factor to exert the efficacy. Avoid flooding the heart leaves of rice.
    3. The effect of this product on barnyard grass above the three-leaf stage is poor, so it must be mastered before the use of weeds after the first leaf stage.
