Thiophanate-methyl

Thiophanate-methyl is a broad-spectrum, systemic fungicide. It controls many fungal diseases on fruits, vegetables, and field crops. It works by stopping fungal cell division. It has low toxicity to humans and animals.

How to Use (70% WP)
Crop Dilution Application
Fruit trees 1,000–1,500X Spray before or at early disease stage. Repeat every 7–10 days.
Vegetables 700–1,000X Spray at early disease stage. Repeat after 7–10 days if needed.
Field crops 1,000X (100 g/acre + 50 L water) Spray evenly.
Seed treatment 0.3% of seed weight Mix with seeds before sowing.

Key Precautions
Do not mix with alkaline pesticides (e.g., lime sulfur, Bordeaux mixture).

Rotate with other fungicides (e.g., mancozeb, pyraclostrobin) to prevent resistance.

Follow pre-harvest interval on the label for food safety.

Avoid contaminating water sources – toxic to aquatic life.
